California Took My Vote Away

An American flag blows in the wind

I called the Registrar's office in January of this year to make sure I was still properly registered. I was assured that I was.

However, during our conversation, he mentioned that my ballot for 2016 was 'challenged'. I am registered to vote by mail, but walked in to vote because I was so afraid of my vote being thrown away.

Thus, that is exactly what they did!

They never followed up on it; just took it away from me!

If I had been from a party of their choice, would that have happened? I think not! 😡
